Client Services of Winston Salem

Crisis Control Ministry has consistently provided financial assistance to individuals in crisis since 1973. In Forsyth County, approximately 15% of the population live at or below the federal poverty level. One unexpected life event could result in a family being unable to afford their monthly expenses, including food or medicine.

Crisis Control Ministry provides financial assistance for rent or mortgage and utilities. Our Client Services Volunteer will conduct an interview with the individual seeking assistance. The volunteer will identify the immediate need and then work with our Client Services Staff to develop a realistic plan to help that individual move towards relative independence.
